Making the idea buildable

PETRUS worked with BIVAK studio during the development of their competition proposal. At its centre is a six-metre concrete bench, suspended on four steel cables from a stainless-steel frame.

A large form. Precise details.

Key challenges included creating a seamless six-metre mould and installing the suspended bench. Bespoke paving slabs feature recessed, painted graphics depicting Marcel Breuer’s work.
